In the 14th arrondissement of Paris, Belenis is acting as quantity surveyor on the refurbishment of a 700 m² GFA hotel, for the Fondation Maison de la Gendarmerie, with architect Bouchaud. On a refurbishment of modest floor area but with precise operational requirements, the quantity surveyor's role is to provide reliable cost visibility very early on. Our remit covered the cost estimate for the works, the preparation of technical specifications and tender analysis. Refurbishing an existing building in Paris means anticipating what site investigations may reveal and firming up budgets from the design stage onward. Drawing on its cost management and quantity surveying expertise, Belenis supported the client through their trade-offs and in managing the projected cost of the scheme, delivered over 2025-2026.
